Registration and Orientation
REGISTERING FOR SCHOOL
Applications for enrollment are available in the office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. from April until mid-June for registration the following fall. The school is closed in July and reopens in late August. In order to process an application, contact the office at 323-255-1419 to make a registration appointment. Applications will not be processed until all of the requirements listed below are completed.
All of the following information is needed to register for school:
- Child needs to be present
- Completed enrollment form
- Completed white health card
- Completed orange health card (filled out by doctor)
- Legal proof of birth: Must bring in original birth certificate (not a copy or the hospital certificate), passport or baptismal certificate for the child
- Verification of address: All documentation must be current and must identify the parent or legal guardian and show the current date, as well as residential address. Acceptable forms of address verification, include: escrow papers, property taxes, or rental agreement. Additionally, a DWP (electric) or Gas Company bill must be shown as proof of residence. No telephone bills, tax returns, or rent receipts can be accepted.
- If your child is entering grades 1 - 6, we must have a report card to verify grade placement. If your child already attends a LAUSD school, a P.A.R. (Pupil Accounting Report) from the current school is required.
Record of immunizations must be current for the following and indicate the month/date/year administered:
- Mantoux tuberculosis (TB) test: including written results; must be administered within 1 year prior to the date school begins
- Hepatitis B: 3 doses
- DPT: 4 doses, one of which must be administered on or after the 4th birthday
- Polio: 4 doses, one of which must be administered on or after the 4th birthday
- MMR: 2 doses which must be administered after the 1st birthday
- Varicella (chicken pox) - Required for Kindergarten entry only

School tours are scheduled for the spring each year. All visitors during the school day will need to sign in at the gate and proceed to the office for a Visitor’s Pass.
Call the Office at 323-355-1419 to make a registration appointment. Bring the completed application and your child to the appointment. Applications will not be processed until all of the requirements are completed.
Permits are issued only on a space-available basis, with priority given to high-achieving students who qualify for SAS (School for Advanced Studies). Parents must meet the requirements for the various permits available before one may be issued. Childcare Permits and Residence Permits must be renewed annually and the need for the permit must still be in effect.
